"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And ou will be my witnesses, telling people abou me everywhere --in Jerusalem, throughtout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Acts 1:8
Our mission at Whiteash FWB Church is to bless those in need. We have been blessed by God so that we can be a blessing to others. We want to be a support in our own local communities as well as globally. We know times can be hard, but we serve a God that is bigger than any circumstance. Our ultimate goal is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone!
Throughout the year we do many different local community outreach ministries such as our Easter egg Hunt, back to school backpack giveaway, supporting our first responders and many different events that God lays on our hearts.
We support global missionaries in different countries that are building churches and sharing the love of Jesus to those that many never hear this otherwise.
We partner with Samaritan Purse in their global ministry Operation Christmas Child. These small shoeboxes are filled with basic hygiene items and small tangible gifts. The ministry shares the good new of Jesus Christ to every child receiving a shoebox. Our church is a local drop off center for shoeboxes packed in our community for National Collection Week, which is the third week in November each year. In addition to being a drop off center, our church hosts a church wide shoebox packing party for this ministry. We prepare for this all year long as we collect different items each month.
Our goal here at Whiteash is not to supply people with stuff or gifts but to share the ultimate gift we've all been given, which is the love of Jesus Christ! Through Him the greatest gift of all is salvation which brings eternal life.

Rusty & Brenda Carney
Rusty and Brenda Carney returned to Japan on June 8, 2019, after sharing how God has worked through them during the last term in Bihoro in eastern Hokkaido, Japan. The couple has a passion to see many Japanese come to know Christ through Japanese Christians being strengthened, discipled, and empowered to share their faith. To that end, they will spend this term in Tokyo. While working in Good News Chapel (with Donnie and Ruth McDonald and Shannon Little) they will look for creative outreach opportunities hoping to reach larger audiences with the gospel
Ben Elliott
Sembradores de Cristo Ministries Mark 4:8 Fulfilling the Great Commission in the black heart (now new heart) of Mexico, Zacatecas, through evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. As of 2005 the Elliotts began their missionary adventures into the area spending every summer and school break in the area sharing the Word of God and the Love of Jesus gathering the people at public courts and under trees. In 2013 they launched out in faith moving full-time to Jerez, Zacatecas where they reside full-time. For three years they continued focusing their evangelistic efforts on the mtn villages and surrounding areas and began a local year long street Kid’s Club ministry in Jerez. In 2016 they began their Jerez church plant meeting in a garage and in 2018 began construction on their first church building. On March 1, 2021 they dedicated “La Casa de mi Padre” (My Father’s House) church in Jerez! The vision and mission of the local church is for a family oriented mission church where they locally reach out through a kid’s club ministry as well as weekly Bible studies and outreaches in the surrounding areas, particularly Buena Vista & Cieneguitas. Sembradores also has a mission 2 1/2 hrs away in “Mesa de Palmira” village in the mtns as of June 2016. From Mesa the Elliotts and their local team are reaching multiple unreached villages further on with the gospel. The Elliotts have named this ministry their 2 Tim 2:2 Far Far Far Away Mtn missions. Amen!
